Melody/Pitch 1
5 Lessons
In this unit, students will create, perform, and respond to the concepts of pitch and melody. Students will determine basic pitch elements such as high vs low, ascend vs descend, before learning about steps, skips, intervals, and solfege. This unit will create the foundational knowledge for students surrounding pitch and melody to add onto their understanding of duration and rhythm.
