Introduction to High and Low Pitches

Introduction
This lesson introduces the concept of high and low for students using existing rhythm knowledge. Students will start by guessing how to perform a rhythm with pitch and how to change pitch based on height placement of the symbols. By the end of this lesson, students will be given definitions of pitch, melody, high/low and understand the high and low layout of a keyboard before improvising short melodies on the black keys.
