Introduction to Steps and Skips with Solfège

Introduction
This lesson introduces the concepts of steps and skips to students using solfège to represent pitches. Students will listen to music examples that contain step and skip melodies and use solfège hand signals to demonstrate the difference between both. By the end of this lesson, students will be able to identify and demonstrate steps and skips using solfège syllables and hand signals.
