Introduction to Longer Rhythm Syllables

Introduction
This lesson introduces whole and half notes to students using the rhythm syllable system of the educator's choice. Students will connect rhythm symbols to musical language and written/spoken language before practicing the rhythm symbols for quarter rest, quarter, eighth, half, and whole note. By the end of this lessons, students will begin to practice rhythms using a rhythm syllables system.
