Introduction
This lesson will align knowledge of sentence structure and language with organizing music into measures. Students will start with examples of sentences without punctuation, then move on to rhythms without barlines/groups, before finally learning about meter and doing some individual practice with grouping rhythms on their own. By the end of this activity, students will begin to group rhythms into measures and learn about meter, barlines, and measures.
